Introducing Kim Bravo, our newest host for FilAm Jams. Kim started her career in the Philippines as a beauty queen, joining Binibining Pilipinas then transitioned over to ramp, print and commercial modeling as well as tv and event hosting.
Having graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she decided to move to the US in 2008 to pursue her nursing profession and, though it keeps her extremely busy, her love for performing never left her.
Here in the US she kept her skills by attending acting conventions and professional acting classes with the likes of Scott Sedita and Ivana Chubbuck. She did ramp modeling as well, most recently for Lou Razon and Renee Salud at the White Party IV. She did commercials for Xoom.com, Ms. Philippines USA, a law firm, and appeared in a cameo role for an episode of Dr. Phil. She is also a print and event model for designer Sigal Benabou, attending red carpet events like the recently concluded MTV Lounge Party, while wearing Benabou's creations. She also hosted several events on live TV as a red carpet correspondent, one in particular for 13 Magazine's Hot Indian Summer Event in Orange County along with co-host Adrian Zaw.
FilAm TV would like to introduce Azia Celestino into our family. The Chapman University graduate has had previous experience as a reporter in the past, most notably with MTV. “I am a proud, third-generation Filipino,” said Celestino. “I love that Fil Am TV aims to bring Filipino culture to Filipino Americans of all generations. Second or third generation, full Filipino, a quarter Filipino- FilAm offers a connection to learn more about your culture.
